New Mexico State University

Welcome to NMSU Network Registration Site!

In order to access the NMSU network on your personal computer, you will need to configure and register computer for Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, or DHCP. By going through this process, you will be able to obtain an Internet Protocol (IP) address for your computer for locations on campus where you wish to be able to connect to the internet. After completing these steps, you will be able to go to different locations on campus and connect instantly to the correct internet settings for each location.

Most computers are already configured for DHCP. If you think that your computer's settings are not yet set up, click on the link for DHCP configuration instructions. If your computer is already configured, read the New Mexico State University Network Terms of Use to continue with Registration.

  • You will need your myNMSU user name and password to register for DHCP. If you do not have a myNMSU account, go to https://my.nmsu.edu/ to sign up.

To configure and register other mobile devices for DHCP (Xbox, Blackberry, ipod, iphone, etc.), contact ICT Customer Service and Helpdesk.
